Grandma`s House of hope
Empowering the invisible populations of Orange County.
Grandma`s House of Hope is a non-profit that provides services, programs and affordable housing to under-served women & children in Orange County and surrounding areas.
After successfully overcoming her own experience with human trafficking and homelessness, Executive Director Je’net Kreitner founded Grandma’s House of Hope (GHH) in 2004.
Since then, GHH continues to extend its reach and scope of services to serve uniquely challenged, deeply impoverished women, children and men. The organization`s mission is to Empower the Invisible Populations of Orange County by targeting those who truly slip between the cracks of other programs, with a specific focus on serving those who are ineligible for, or who have significant difficulty accessing, other organizations’ services.
Grandma`s House of Hope fill gaps in basic needs—particularly food and shelter—by providing personalized support for individuals and families to improve their life circumstances and break the cycle of poverty, incarceration, homelessness and abuse.
GHH operates four programs: GHH Rescued and Restored Housing Program, Bridge Housing, Nana’s Kidz, and the HopeWorks! Education and Enrichment Center (HWEEC). Collectively through these programs, the organization addresses the food, housing and other basic needs of 3,720 low – income and at-risk individuals.
